Start with your jacket reference, quantity and intended market. KAIDA can review a tech pack, physical sample or clear design brief for OEM/ODM development. The fabric, seam construction, branding and testing requirements are agreed for the specific jacket before bulk production.
First trial orders using available stock fabrics start at 300 pieces per style, with up to two colors. Minimums for custom-woven or custom-dyed fabrics are confirmed separately for each project.

For a hunting or low-noise outdoor jacket, do not approve the shell from a waterproof rating alone. Quiet handfeel, face-fabric durability, the membrane or coating, seam construction and the required waterproof and breathability tests should be reviewed together for the intended use.

- Compare candidate fabrics by face material, construction, weight, backing and membrane or coating—not by one performance number alone.
- State whether a target applies to the fabric or the finished garment, and agree the test method, product stage and acceptance criteria before approval.
- Confirm the planned quantity and colors because stock availability and custom fabric minimums can change the feasible options.
- Approve a physical swatch or sample after reviewing handfeel, movement noise, construction and the agreed performance evidence together.

02Can I add my own logo to a waterproof jacket?+
Yes. Send your logo artwork, desired size and position with your jacket reference. The decoration method is selected for the actual shell fabric, finish and design, then reviewed on a sample before bulk production. Include any waterproof construction requirements in the brief.
03What is the minimum order for custom waterproof jackets?+
For first trial orders using available stock fabrics, our standard minimum is 300 pieces per style, with up to two colors. Custom-woven or custom-dyed fabrics have separate minimum order requirements, confirmed for each project. Send your jacket reference, quantity and color breakdown so we can review the suitable fabric options.
04Can I specify the waterproof and breathability requirements?+
Yes. Include your target performance and any required test method in the brief. Waterproof and breathability specifications are confirmed for the selected fabric and jacket construction. Seam-sealing requirements and acceptance criteria should be agreed for the project; there is no single rating that applies to every KAIDA jacket.
05How are sampling and bulk production timelines confirmed?+
Sampling and bulk production timelines are confirmed after reviewing the jacket specification, materials and order quantity. Custom fabrics, colors or trims can add procurement time. Send your required delivery window with the brief so timing can be reviewed before you proceed.
06Can KAIDA support both OEM and ODM waterproof jacket programs?+
Yes. KAIDA supports development from a buyer's tech pack, reference sample or design brief, then carries the approved product through bulk production.

Yes. KAIDA's confirmed factory data includes 40–50 seam-sealing machines for waterproof and functional garment production.
